HI i am 13 years old and have has a love for horses all my life.... I have always said i wanted to be a vet and i will pursue my dream. I went to a local sale about a year ago and was walking thorough the horse barn when i saw the pens with all the babies...i saw one laying there being walked all over and looked at her she was all cut up and could barley stand up, i cried in till my mom said she would buy her but i had to do all the work and she wouldn't help that much, she said that we wouldn't have the money to send her to be trained so i said i will do it myself she said okay. We bought the horse and got her home he told us she was a premarin foal and she told us a little bit about it and most likely how she got here. He looked at her wounds and said he had never seen somthing this bab on a foal and he was suprised she was still walking around. We where told that she would be okay when she got older but her step would be a little off. Now her leg is all healed up and she loves to run around the field to play with the other horses she actually has the spunk and energy of a real foal not a hurt one. Premarin is the horribliest act of animal cruelty i have ever heard of and i am so grateful i bought her and i can't wait till the next sale when i have enough money to buy another ( my mom said she won't but it so i have to i rather have a horse then save my money for a car) I realize that i basically saved this foals life and i also gained a new friend....
